Kay Jene Walker Brewer, 82, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS.

Kay was born in the Auburn community in Franklin County, Mississippi, on June 7, 1932, the daughter of Bennie and Ella Godbold Walker. She graduated from Mars Hill High School. She was a longtime member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church. Kay loved her church, her family and her flowers. Each Christmas she decorated the sanctuary and during the year provided flowers for the alter each Sunday.
