Lee E. Campbell, Sr.

Sgt. Lee E. Campbell, Sr. went to be with the Lord on August 14, 2014. Funeral Services will be held at Collis Hill Church of Christ (Holiness) USA in Terry on Tuesday, August 19 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation is on Monday, August 18 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Westhaven Funeral Home in Jackson.

Lee Sr. was born on May 26, 1951 to Joseph R. Campbell Sr. and Wavine Bracey Campbell. He graduated from Sumner Hill High School in 1969 and enlisted in the US Marine Corps in 1970. He fought during the Vietnam War and was an Auto Mechanic/Machinist at K-Mart and Joy Co Motors, Inc. (Master Built Motors). He served as Deacon at Mt. Zion Church of Christ (Holiness) USA in Jackson. Lee Sr. is survived by his wife Brenda Cottrell Campbell, their children Elisha, Kenneth and Lee II and his wife Almesha, grandchildren Ayana and A'Myra, his mother Wavine Campbell, brother Bishop Joseph R. Campbell Jr, and sister Shirley McClendon.
