Charles Ishee Obituary
Bay Springs
Charles Rex Ishee, 80, of Bay Springs, MS, died Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at St Dominic's Hospital in Jackson, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Providence Primitive Baptist Church in Stringer, MS. Burial will be in Union Cemetery. The body will be placed in the Church at 1:00 PM. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs, MS is in charge of arrangements. 601-764-2181
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 from 5-8 pm at the funeral home.
Preceded in death by parents: Sidney R and Vera Wilson Ishee brothers: Sid Ishee, Jr, Dan Ishee, James Ishee, sisters: Frances Ishee and Dorthy Ishee.
Survivors Include: wife: Genelle Bufkin Ishee, Bay Springs, MS, sons: Charles (Allyson) Ishee, Katy, TX, Billy Ishee, Bay Springs, MS, Newt (Carrye) Ishee, Taylorsville, MS, Nic (Alicia) Ishee, Bay Springs, MS, brother: Harold Slay(Jimmie) Ishee, Brandon, MS, sister-in-laws: Frances Ishee and Stella Ishee, Bay Springs, MS, grandchildren: MariBeth, Emily, Andrew, Joshua, Makenzie, Dylan, Jackson Ishee.
Memorials may be made to Union Cemetery Association 1283 SCR 13 Bay Springs, MS 39422

Bro. Rex was a true soldier of the cross. He will be missed by Providence Primitive Baptist Church as well as Grace PBC and other churches. We will miss him and the sweet prayers he would always pray. May God bless you Sister Janette. The O'Gwynn family

Mr. Rex was a special person that I had the pleasure of knowing while I worked in Taylorsville. His entire family was special and he was the true head of the family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
