William C. Trest

Hattiesburg

Services will be held at 11:30 AM Thursday at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. William Carroll Trest, Sr., 78, of Hattiesburg, formerly of Clinton, MS.

He died Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Forrest General Hospital.

A private burial will be in Hebron Cemetery in Jones County.

Mr. Trest was a Certified Public Accountant. He retired from the Internal Revenue Service and was a member of First Baptist Church of Jackson, MS. He was a graduate of Jones Jr. College and the University of Southern Mississippi, and a U.S. Navy Veteran.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Juanita Gunter; brothers, Willard, Charles, Bob, Don, and Ray Trest.

He is survived by his wife, Ada Bradshaw Trest of Hattiesburg, formerly of Clinton; a son, William C. Trest, Jr. of Jackson; a daughter, Angela Herzog of Hattiesburg; a son-in-law, Jimmy and granddaughter, Lauren; a brother, Ralph Trest of Laurel; and many special nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to: Homes for Hope in Purvis, MS.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM Thursday at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home in Hattiesburg.
