Alice Faye Stepp

Brandon

Alice Faye Stepp, 85, formerly of Lexington died Saturday, October 20, 2012, at Peachtree Village in Brandon. Visitation will be held at Southern Funeral Home, Lexington, MS from 10 am until 12 pm, with graveside services to follow at 1 pm in North Carrollton at Evergreen Cemetery on Thursday, October 25, 2012.

Mrs. Stepp was a native of Vaiden, MS. She graduated from Vaiden High School and attended Draughn's Business College of Jackson. Mrs. Stepp, with her husband, Tandy M. Stepp, later moved to Lexington where they opened Stepp and Lott Lumber Co. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Lexington where she was a Sunday school teacher. Mrs. Stepp served as chairman of the Lexington Library Board of Trustees, and as Worthy Matron of the Easter Star.

Mrs. Stepp was preceded in death by her husband, Tandy M. Stepp, brother, George Rosamond and sister, Carolyn Trevino.

Survivors include her daughter, Susan Bailey of Brandon; grandson, Jason Bailey (wife Katie) of Hattiesburg; granddaughter, Tandy Katsaboulas (husband Pete) and great grandsons, Tyler and Jonah of Pearl; sisters, Linda McMurtry of Brandon, Linda Rucker of Carrollton, Dawn Marie Skelton of Kosciusko; brothers, Jim Rosamond of Madison, Jerry Rosamond of Brandon, Bill Rosamond of Grenada and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials in loving memory of Mrs. Stepp may be made to the MS Children's Home Society Adoptions Program and the Alzheimer's Association.
