Funeral services celebrating the life of Dr. Wade Plauche will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 29, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Father Karl Daigle. Interment will follow at Forest Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Osborn Funeral Home from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Wade passed away in Brandon, MS, where he had been a resident for 19 years, on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 after a lengthy illness.

Dr. Plauche graduated from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA and was a member of Phi Chi fraternity. He had over 47 years of medical experiences and practices in nuclear Medicine and Radiology and received certification as a Nuclear Cardiology Radiologist. He also served in his profession in the United States Navy. He was a member of St. Francis of Assissi Catholic Church in Brandon, MS.

Dr. Plauche' was preceded in death by his father, Wade E. Plauche' and his sister, Patricia Plauche'. He is survived by his spouse of 21 years, Ginger Balistrella Plauche'; son, Andrew Plauche'; daughters, Michelle VonCannon and Suzanne Hutchinson' several grandchildren; mother, Marcie Plauche'; brothers, Daniel Plauche' and G. Rich Plauche'; and sister, Renee' Nesper.

Pallbearers will be Sam Balistrella, Joseph Balistrella, Dr. Douglas Wolfe, Johnny Kuntz, Thomas Avallone, Eric Person, Daniel and G. Rich Plauche'. The family request that memorials be made in lieu of flowers to the Parkinson's Association in Brandon, MS. The family would like to thank The Blake, assisted living facility, for the loving care provided to Wade over the last two years.
