Marlene,
It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that I write this, having recently learned through an alumni publication of John's passing.
As his classmate and friend at Notre Dame, please accept my belated sympathy and heartfelt condolences.
My prayers go out to you and your extended family.
Life gives us brief moments with another. With John these moments will give me memories that will last a lifetime.
Rest in peace , Notre Dame brother, and may God keep you always in His loving embrace.

Marlene,
It was so nice talking with you and reminiscing about John. I will always remember his incredible intellect and his great sense of humor. He was a man of great personal integrity. I consider it an honor to have had a long association with John at Vickers Jackson.
Allene and I will remember him fondly.

Dear Marlene,
I offer you my deepest sympathy to you and your entire family. Although I have not seen John for many years, I remember him well from our elementary school days at St. John Cantius. He was outstanding in every way. Be assured of my prayers...

Dear Marlene and Leslie,
Allene and I were terribly saddened by the news of John's passing. Knowing him was to respect him for his knowledge and character. He was a great contributor to Vickers and the community. We will keep him and you in our prayers.

Dear Marlene and Family,
Please know that you and your family will be in our prayers and thoughts during this difficult time. I will always remember John's love of life and all the great times we had together in our long careers with Vickers. We started in Troy, moved to Jackson and had a lot of fun in the 70's with Geothermal (with Dan Tearpock). We always talked Notre Dame vs U of Michigan football (who was better). After Karen and I moved to Grand Rapids we did not get to see the both of you like when we lived in Jackson. But on occasions at company reunions or social functions the friendship came back instantly. We will miss John as a very long time friend but I am sure God is putting John in charge of R&D Engineering.
