God is near to those that are broken at heart and those crushed in spirit he saves. God will sustain you and help you to endure.

My heart has a hole in it due to the loss of my brother-in-law & father figure whom I loved dearly. My grown children were reminiscing about his pinching toes and those of you who knew him well will remember those. He may be gone but will never be forgotten.
