James Daughdrill Obituary
Ocean Springs
James M. Daughdrill, formerly of New Hebron, MS passed away in Ocean Springs, MS on October 17, 2013 at the age of 93.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Ann Ard and a grandson Greg Ard, two sisters, and one brother.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Oneida Daughdrill of Ocean Springs, MS, a son Jerry (Pat) Daughdrill of Ocean Springs, MS, a granddaughter Jana (Kerry) Page, two great-grandsons Nathan Page and Jonathan Page of Oxford, MS, a brother George Daughdrill of Magee, MS, a sister Ener Hemby of Kiln, MS, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on October 19, 2013 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home on Hwy. 49 in Magee, MS. Funeral services will be held following the visitation at 11:00 a.m. at Old Good Hope Primitive Baptist Church with burial in the Old Good Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Sunplex Subacute Center and Community Hospice for all their loving care.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to Old Good Hope Primitive Baptist Church, Walter Shows, 501 Oak Street, Mendenhall, MS 39114.
