Madison
Shirley Rose Johnson Peeples, age 81, of Madison, MS passed away at St. Catherine's Village in Madison, MS on April 8, 2017. Shirley was born in Mize, MS on 10-20-1935, to Grover Johnson and Myrtis Sullivan Johnson. She graduated in 1953 from Mize High School, attended Draughon's Business College. She married Dunlap Peeples, Jr in 1994. She retired from Bellsouth on December 31, 1994 with over 35 years of service. She is survived by stepchildren, Eldon Peeples (Wanda) of Raymond, MS, Dorothy Beach (Bill) of Nicholasville, Kentucky, 7 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Parkway Funeral Home Wednesday April 12, 2017 at 12 Noon. Visitation will be from 10am to 12 noon Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be Lakewood Memorial Cemetery.
