Veda Jeanette Graham

Veda Jeanette Hill Graham, 87, died Friday January 12, 2007 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at Memory Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with burial in Liberty Cemetery in Stringer. Rev. George Thomas Kitchens will officiate.

She was a homemaker and member of The Abundant Life Pentecostal Church in Laurel and the Jasper County Demonstration Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Graham; infant son, Samuel Graham; infant grandson, Kenneth Chadwick Graham; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Graham; two sisters, Jessie Bennett and Grace McNeer; four brothers, Ed Hill, Woodrow Hill, Luther Hill, and Jimmy Hill.

She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Martha A. and Wayne Agee of Hernando, Fla., Sharon and Ted Hill of Wheeler, and Juanita J. Bourn of Madison; four sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth R. and Teresa Graham of Laurel, Larry L. and Cindy Graham of Vicksburg, Gregory W. and Teri Graham of Bay Springs, and John W. Graham of Bay Springs; 15 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jody Graham, Hill Graham, Graham Hill, Ben Graham, Rodney McNeer and Steve Holland. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Holland, Mike Holland, Carson Graham, Christopher Shafer, Jacob Porter, Milton Hill, Michael Cahill and Ted Clusser.
