Marian F. Womack Hammond passed away Dec. 26, 2017, in Arvada. She was 74 years old.
Born Jan. 31, 1943, in Denver, she was the daughter of Lester and Rosemary Poulson of Empire. She lived most her life in Empire, and spent summers selling train tickets at the Georgetown Loop Railroad and winters as a cashier at Loveland Ski Area.
Hobbies of knitting, scrapbooking and ball games filled her days.
She was a 1960 graduate of Clear Creek High School.
Marian is survived by her brother, Harry A Poulson; sons Ron Henson, Bernard Henson, Joe Henson and William Womack; a daughter, Laura Prather; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, at Foothills Community Church, 8270 W. 80th Ave., Arvada. Bring a dish, pictures and stories.
