GRILLO JOHN D. "SONNY" GRILLO, age 79 of Chardon, died January 14, 2016. Born Sept. 24, 1936 in Cleveland, growing up in Murray Hill. Formerly of Streetsboro. Survivors include his wife, Laraine (nee Eldredge) whom he married on June 15, 1974 in Chardon; one daughter, Lisa (Zachary) Hirt; three sons, Chris (Kathy), Scott (Amanda) and Kevin (Teresa Hall) Grillo; grandchildren CJ, Jordan, Kyle, Andrew, Anthony, Sienna and Kaylee; sister Shirley Wood; sister-in-law Claire Grillos; mother-in-law Priscilla Eldredge; brother-in-law Marty Eldredge; and sister-in-law, Karen Nypaver.
