Douglas Henderson Cole, 85, went home to be with his Lord and savior, Tuesday, July 31, 2012 in Conroe, Texas.
Douglas was born Friday, September 10, 1926, in Liberty County, Texas to Luther and Lillie Bell (Smith) Cole, both of whom preceded him in death. Douglas was also preceded in death by his spouse Ruby Mae Cole; Douglas was the last of eleven children, seven brothers and three sisters. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters Linda Ballard and husband Wayne, Sharion McMillan; sons William McMillan and wife Charlie, James Long and wife Sharon; grandson Joseph Robert Ballard and wife Wendy; great-grandson Zachary Joseph Ballard; numerous other loving family and friends
Visitation for Douglas was held Thursday, August 2, 2012, at Neal Funeral Home Chapel.
Graveside services were Friday, August 3, 2012, at Boothe Cemetery, Tarkington. Officiating Reverend Bill Shafer.
All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
