Anita A. Marshburn, 44
CLINTON — Ms. Anita Anne Marshburn, 44, of 3350 Bradshaw Road, left us suddenly in her home on Sunday, March 9, 2014.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Royal-Hall Funeral Home with the Rev. Ken White officiating. Burial will follow in the Fleming Family Cemetery.
Anita was born January 20, 1970 in Sampson County to Billy and the late Jaunita Marshburn. She was a valued employee and admired coworker at Piedmont Natural Gas.
Anita was whole-heartedly loved and is survived by her daughter, Brittaney Marshburn of Clinton and her son, Harold Marshburn of Clinton. Anita was the baby sister of four sisters and the older sister to one brother; Tammy Yarboro of Oak Island, Willadean Wallace of Fayetteville, Joanie Kanode of Florida, Billie Jo Marshburn of Fayetteville, and Donnie Gregory of Kuwait.
Anita had two granddaughters that she loved more than anything, Madison Kate Sinclair and Mackenna Grace Sinclair.
Anita spent much of her spare time spoiling her two granddaughters and was known only as "Memaw." She loved to spend time at the beach with her children and the mountains with her Dad. All though she was not well, she insisted on keeping active. Family meant everything to her and one of her last wishes was to spend Christmas with everyone. This was a wish that came true.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service and at other times at her home.
