Robert Harvey, 83

CLINTON — Mr. Robert "Keith" Harvey, 83, of 1748 Rowan Road, Clinton, was called home on Tuesday, July 8th at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

The funeral is scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday, July 11, at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home, 118 Fayetteville St., Clinton, with Pastor Bob Shaw officiating.

Mr. Harvey was born in Montour Falls, N.Y. to the late Robert Leslie Harvey and Mrs. Viola Pearl Smith Harvey. He was a member of the Turkey Baptist Church along with being a member of the 4H, Albany Grange, a Dairy Farmer, and the Superintendent of Transportation for Wappingers Central School District in Wappingers, N.Y.

In addition to his parents he was preceded by his wife Joyce Harvey; a daughter, Holly Harvey; and a brother, Ward Harvey.

Mr. Harvey is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Harvey (Lisa), Berne, NY, and Joel Harvey (Ashley) of Clinton; daughter, Rebecca Pittman (Preston) of Clinton; four grand-daughters, Samantha and Elizabeth Harvey, Kate Herring and Logann Pittman; step-grandchild, Preston Pittman, II and Monica Pittman; sister, Cynthia Schoneker (Martin) of Washington State; special friend, Sharon Hunt of Fayetteville.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
