Willo D. Bearefield, 80

CLINTON — Mrs. Willo Dean Bearefield, 80, of 202 Moore St., died Saturday, June 20, 2014 at her home.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 24 at Immanuel Baptist Church, 1017 Sunset Avenue, Clinton, with the Rev. Tim Ameen officiating. Interment will follow in the Clinton Cemetery.

Mrs. Bearefield born in Sampson County was the daughter of the late Hugh Brantley Bearefield and Emma Eda Harris Bearefield. She retired from Lundy Packing Company where she worked as a secretary. She was a devoted Christian, a loving sister and aunt, and a Sunday school teacher at Immanuel Baptist Church.

She is survived by a sister, Evelyn Mae Hobbs and husband Jim of Fayetteville; Nephew, Jimmy Hobbs and wife Leslie of Fayetteville; niece, Donna Mims and husband Freddie of Fayetteville; four great-nieces, Elizabeth Dew, Marsha Murphy and husband Lawrence, Kim Mims, and Lauren Hobbs; two great-great nephews, Chase Dew, and Kenneth Murphy.

The family will receive friends at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home, Monday, June 23rd from 6 to 8 p.m.
