CLINTON — Annie Muriel Johnson Fisher Pate, 87, passed away early Monday morning, Aug. 27, 2018 at Whispering Pines Nursing & Rehab Center in Fayetteville.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, at Clinton Cemetery with the Rev. Don Myers officiating.

Born on Oct. 22, 1930 in Sampson County, Annie was the daughter of the late Bascom and Mollie Hudson Johnson. She attended Garland High School, Class of 1949 and attended Grace United Methodist Church. She was the widow of Crayon Fisher and Richard "Pinky" Pate.

She is survived by her sister, Mildred Lewis of Fayetteville; her brother, B.J. Johnson of Garland; two granddaughters, Olivia Ruiz and Melissa G. Gumm; and three great-grandsons, Savon Ruiz, Elijah Cameron Gumm and Jaxon Reyes.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Molly Ann Scott; and three sisters, Lillian Batchleor, Alene Carter and Estherleen Carter.

Family will receive friends prior to the graveside service from 1:45-2:45 p.m. Thursday at Royal-Hall Funeral Home.
