Harrison L. Honeycutt

ROSEBORO — Mr. Harrison Lee Honeycutt, 79, of 7746 N. Salemburg Hwy., died at his home, Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Royal-Hall Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Keith Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Piney Green Church Cemetery.

Born in 1933 in Sampson County, Mr. Honeycutt was the son of the late Olgie Lee and Cora Royal Honeycutt. He was a truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Honeycutt; son, Bobby Ray Honeycutt of Salemburg; one grandson, Keith Ray Parker; sister, Jeanene Boyette of Clinton; and a brother, the Rev. Paul Honeycutt of Salemburg.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Leanne "Pixie" Honeycutt; four sisters, Lucille Harrison, Willa Dean Tew, Elois Williams, Eva Jean Upchurch; and two brothers, Donald Honeycutt and J.D. Honeycutt.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of his brother, the Rev. Paul Honeycutt, 402 Butler Road, Salemburg.
