Elizabeth D. Webster, 87

CLINTON—Mrs. Elizabeth "Edna" Davis Webster, 87, of 106 Kimberly Drive, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014 at her home.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 15, in Grandview Memorial Cemetery, 2809 N. U.S. Hwy. 421 Clinton, with the Rev. Dr. James A. Moran officiating.

Mrs. Webster, born in Duplin Co., was the daughter of the late William Robert Davis and Bessie Jane Price Davis and was the widow of the late Ernest Gary Webster, Jr. .Edna was preceded in death by brothers and sisters: Ruby Peterson, Nellie Davis, Marie Jackson, Eliza Davis, Woodrow Davis, Helen House, Willie Davis, Mary Carr, and Edward Davis. She retired from Carolina Telephone Co. as a supervisor with 39 years of service and was a member of Graves Memorial Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by two sons, Terrell Webster and wife, Lynn of Clinton, Brad Webster and wife, Glenice of Clinton; four grandchildren, Ashley Webster, Shaun Webster, Collyn Webster, Zannah Webster; brother and sister, Tommy Davis and wife, Joyce of Roanoke Rapids, Louise Davis Malpass of Mt. Olive; caregiver, Bessie Matthews.

The family will receive friends following the graveside service at the home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Graves Memorial Presbyterian Church Building Fund at 201 Fayetteville Street, Clinton, NC.
