LeRoy D. Stout, 95, Delaware, died Monday, April 21, 2014, at Delaware Court in Delaware. LeRoy was born in Harry and Sarah (Hendricks) Stout on Oct. 25, 1918. He married Lt. Eleanor R. Daley on Aug. 9, 1946. LeRoy graduated from York High School in 1936. He served in the Army Air Corp during World War II in Trinidad and Guam. He retired from the Air Force in 1966 with the Rank of SMSgt. He worked for 17 years for the United States Postal Service. He volunteered well over 1000 hours at the United States Air force Museum in Dayton. LeRoy enjoyed travel, camping, aircraft and automobiles, but most of all enjoyed his family. He is survived by a daughter, Kathleen Zuccolli of Delaware; a son, Thomas (Alix) Stout of Elida; three granddaughters, Nicole (Ryan) Hemsoth of High Point, N.C., Lisa (Jeremiah) Berger of Bangor, Maine and Danielle (significant Justin White) Stout of Columbus; and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Stout was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Carl and Clyde Stout. Visitation will be held one hour prior to funeral services on Friday, April 25, at 11 a.m., at the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St. in Clyde.
