J B "Buck" Mobley 92, of Clovis, NM died Friday, November 8, 2013, at Wheatfields. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, November 11, 2013, at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.

Buck was born September 10, 1921, to C.J. and Zula Mobley in Bovina, TX. He married Elizabeth May Palmitier July 18, 1942, in Clovis, NM. Buck served in the US Army during WWII. He was presented with two metals, the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. He worked as a Switchman and Conductor for the AT&SF Railroad retiring in 1987.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth "Betty May" of the home; three sons, Bob (Catherine) Mobley of Suprise, AZ, Richard (Lana) Mobley of Anthony, NM, and Eddy Mobley of Edgewood, NM; a daughter, Kathy Wilkins of Clovis, NM; eight grandchildren, Lynn (Glen) Auge, Gayla (Mike) Hartle, Chad Mobley, Kyle (Connie) Mobley, Britni (Jason) Sherwood, Sarah (Garrett) Goodson, Dillon Mobley, and Eva Mobley; three sisters, Evelyn Goldsmith, of Center, TX, Bonnie Spearman of Texas, and Sue Rogers of Lexington, NE; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, C.J. ad Zula; three sisters, Macel Frazer, Erma Tunnel, and Novey Hendrickson; two brothers, Orville Mobley and Leonard "Buddy" Mobley.
