Services for William G. "Bill" Cotton 83, of Clovis, will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2014, at The Chapel 1500 Thornton with Billy Borden officiating. Burial will follow at Mission Garden of Memories. Bill died Sunday, February 2, 2014, at All Care Assisted Living.

Bill was born October 2, 1930, in Columbus, GA to William G and Ethel (Hayes) Cotton. He married Willa Lee Widdifield, September 20, 1952, in Las Cruces, NM. Bill served in the USAF. He worked as a loan officer for Sunwest Bank for 10 years, the Farmers Home Administration and owned Bill Cotton Appraisal Co. Bill announced horse shows and the Equestrian Competition in the Special Olympics for many years.
Survivors include: his son, William D. (Leah) Cotton, Clovis, Terri Lynn Cotton, Alto, NM, Pamela Jeanne (William "Buddy") Dunn, Moriarty, NM, five grandchildren; Justin M. Cotton, Brandon G. Cotton, Kelsi J. Dunlap, Kayla Jo Dunn, Cassandra F. Cotton and three great-grandchildren. Bill was preceded by his parents and wife Willa Lee.
