Priscilla was the second of ten children. Her oldest sister was Victoria, who succumbed to illness at the young age of 15. She has one brother, JoJo and her eight younger sisters are Linda, Irene, Mary, Clare, Rosie, Suzanne, Nadine, and Patsy.
Priscilla spent most of her life living in Clovis, NM, where she married Joaquin Cardova. This union produced eight children, two sons, Joaquin and Severiano; six daughters, Victoria Armierz, Rebecca Garcia, Margaret Cardova who died at birth, Maria Elena Denato, Alvina Garcia, and Jovanna Moreno.
After losing her first husband, Joaquin, in a fatal car accident, she later moved to California with her children for a few years. She then returned to Clovis where she met and married Gill Loranzo who helped raise her children until his untimely death from a battle with cancer.
In 2003, she moved to Hill City, KS, where she married Merlyn Stinemetz. In 2010, she experienced the tragic loss of her daughter, Jovanna, from diabetes.
Priscilla continued to battle her illness and her right to health care, setting a precedent in the Kansas Supreme Court for the right to a choice of an out of state bloodless surgery. The greatest accomplishment of Priscilla life was her dedication to Jehovah God in 1974.
Even though she suffered the loss of children, husbands, and siblings plus fighting a battle with a fatal illness, she continued to follow Jesus example spending many hours in preaching and teaching about Jehovah's mightiness and kingdom. Not only from door to door - but giving a witness of her faith to Nurses, Doctors, Lawyers, and Judges.
She leaves behind many family members including her six children and their spouses; twenty-four grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; parents; brother; sisters and their spouses; nieces and nephews; seven step-children and their spouses, plus a host of friends and loved ones.
Her memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses located at 622 W. Garnett, Hill City, KS 67642 on October 27, 2012 at 2:00 pm.
