Paula was born on June 27, 1945, in St. Louis, Missouri to Jesse Orville and Jewell Mae (Dalton) Glore and went to be with the Lord on December 10, 2012, in Portales. Paula was devoted to her husband, children, and grandchildren. She provided invaluable support and stability to her family. And to those who knew her well, she had quite a sense of humor. She was pure in heart and loved God wholeheartedly. She was a giver and served others willingly, never complaining. She could often be found cheerfully working with babies in the church nursery, which she considered her calling, second only to her family. Her faith has now become sight in the presence of her Lord.
Paula was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Lee Glore, and a grandson, Jared Paul Baker. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Don Edgington of Portales; a son, Jason Edgington and wife, Jaci of Tel Aviv, Israel; two daughters, Laura Baker and husband, Cleo of Portales and Toni Jennings and husband, Carey of Lubbock, Texas; two brothers, Bob Glore of Dixon, Missouri and John Glore and wife, Lenore of St. Charles, Missouri; four sisters, Betty McMullin of Eureka, Missouri, Irma Spindel of St. Louis, Missouri, Joy Snyder and husband, Bob of St. Charles, Missouri, and Brenda Trokey and husband, Don of St. Charles, Missouri. Paula is also survived by her grandchildren, Stephen Baker, Nathan Baker, Karissa Baker, Caleb Edgington, Kaitlin Baker, Ayden Jennings, Joshua Edgington, Luke Baker, and Samuel Jennings.
