Lusher, Mark Daniel - Longmont  
Mark Daniel Lusher, 42, of Longmont, Colorado, died Sunday, April 12, 2015, after a short but serious illness. He was born Dec. 19, 1972, in Decatur, Georgia, to Carolyn (Rick) Barney of Glennville and Michael D. Lusher of Hinesville. Mr. Lusher was a 1991 graduate of Bradwell Institute in Hinesville. He was an Air Force veteran, who founded MDL Consulting which specialized in web design in the Atlanta area. In 2007, Mr. Lusher relocated permanently to Colorado. First, in Boulder he immersed himself in the business community where he founded Omnidant and later in Longmont. In early 2014, Mr. Lusher along with wife, Candace Newcomb, and business partners opened 300 Suns Brewery in Longmont. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lusher is survived by his beloved wife, Candace Newcomb of Longmont; sister, Michele (John) Leonard of Alexandria, Virginia; stepbrother Ryan Barney of Lyons; stepsister, Brett (Ronnie) Stallnaker of Statesboro; nieces and nephews; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and his canine best friend, Sierra. Mr. Lusher was preceded in death by grandmothers, Orgenola Barfoot of Dublin and Naomi Hall Lusher of Berrien County; and grandfathers, Harold Thompson of Laurens County and Francis D. Lusher of Louisville, Kentucky, and his canine best friend, Yogi. Future memorial services are planned in Nashville, Georgia, and a celebration of life in Longmont. Howe Mortuary of Longmont has charge of arrangements.
