Dyshea Shanice Williams, 13, of Midway, departed this life on June 8, 2013, at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah. Dyshea was born April 15, 2000, in Savannah.
She attended Holy House of Prayer in McIntosh County, where she served humbly as a junior usher. She was diligent student in the Liberty County Public School System.
In May, she was just promoted to the seventh grade at Midway Middle School.
She leaves to cherish her memories; her mother, Dyastine Williams of Midway; her father, Anthony Walker of Seattle, Wash., three siblings, Dyastine, DaShawn and Dominic Williams, all of Midway; loving grandmother, Sylvia Williams of Midway; grandfather Waldo Williams Sr. of Philadelphia, Pa.; two uncles, Waldo Williams III of Sugar Hill, Ga., and Tyrone Williams of St. Louis; very special extended family, Randolph Scott of Midway and Kantrell Puryear, Denzel Banks and Payden Puryear of Columbus, Ga.; and a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins and friends.
Her viewing will be from 1-5 p.m. on Friday, June 14, at the Dorchester Funeral Home in Midway.
Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 15, in the Frank V. Givens Memorial Chapel of Dorchester Funeral Home at 7842 E. Oglethorpe Highway. Interment will be in St. James Church Cemetery.
