Mr. Freddie Lee James, 56, passed away July 4, 2013, at his Midway residence.
He was born to the late Freddie James and Essie Mae Shavers James on Nov. 15, 1956, in Midway. He was a member of St Peter's AME Church.
He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Demond and Benjamin James, both of Tampa, Fla.; four daughters, Tanya (William) Bradwell of Atlanta, Yolanda James, Timeka (Johnnie) Youmans and Lateya James, all of Tampa; two brothers, Leon (Mary) Williams of Midway and Joe (Deborah) Robertson of Hinesville; three sisters, Rosemary Harden, Johnnie Mae Robertson and Valarie Golden, all of Midway; six grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. Friday, July 12, at Dorchester Funeral Home in Midway.
His funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 13, at St Peter's AME Church, 5394 E. Oglethorpe Highway, Midway. Interment will be in St Peter's AME Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Midway.
