Kiara Gray was born in Hinesville, Liberty County, on March 27, 1990, to James Reese and Sandra Gray. She departed this life on Aug. 9, 2013, at her home.
Kiara was educated in the Liberty County School System. She was employed by Golden Corral.
She leaves to mourn, her loving finance, Christopher Barcliff of Brooklyn, N.Y.; one son, Jayden Gray; two daughters, Makalya Gray and Malasia Gray, all of Hinesville; her mother, Sandra Gray of Hinesville; her father, James (Tamara) Reese of Deatsville, Ala.; her grandmother, Ellen Lamar of Hinesville; two sisters, Jasmine Gray of Hinesville and Jasia Reese of Deatsville; two brothers, James Gray of Hinesville and Roctavious Reese of Deatsville; seven great-aunts, Levergil Lewis of St Petersburg, Fla., Doris Kirkwood, Jerry Chatman, Delois Roberts, Shirley Mikel, Edna Mikel and Brenda (Larry) Baker, all of Hinesville, and Vanessa Webb of Columbus, Ga.; five great-uncles, William (Doris) Jackson of Hinesville, Lawrence Lamar of Kaiserlautern, Germany, Timothy (Rebekah) Sanders of Thomson, Ga., Henderson (Catherine) Lamar of San Diego, Calif., and William Webb of Fort Campbell, Ky.; three special brothers, Antonio Butler, Martrel Grant, and Zack Grant; two dear friends, Ranita Dupree and Krystal Richardson; a host of cousins; and other relatives and friends.
Her wake will be from 6-7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16, at Dorchester Funeral Home in Midway.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at Bethel AME Church, 233 Gause St., Hinesville.
Interment will be in New Home Cemetery in Flemington.
