Terry Lynn Frye, 54, of Midway, passed away peacefully Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, at Hospice Savannah with family by her side.
Terry was a native of Logan, W.V., born to George Frye and Ginger Frye on Jan. 4, 1960. She had lived in the Liberty County area since 1980, having moved here from Kentucky. Terry was a Meade High School Graduate, in Kentucky, class of 1979.
She was an avid outdoorsperson, who loved to fish and work outdoors. Terry worked with the Liberty County School System as a paraprofessional and most recently owned her own Cleaning Business. She was a member of the Fleming Baptist Church and helped her church in every way she possibly could.
Terry will be greatly missed by her family and those who knew her.
Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Jack Dean of Midway; daughter, Amanda Davis of Hinesville; mother, Ginger L. Frye of Midway; father and stepmother, George and Jacqueline Frye of St. Marys; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Sandra Frye of Midway; nieces, Casi Thrower and Amber Frye; great-nephews, Taylor Thrower and Bentley Middleton; and granddaughter on the way this June, Kaylee Marie Lynn Dean.
A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18, at Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Flemington with the Rev. Michael Carden officiating.
The family has requested that donations in Terry's honor be made to Fleming Baptist Church, 3526 N. Coastal Highway 17, Midway, GA 31320, or the Liberty Humane Shelter, 279 Briarwood Circle, Hinesville, GA 31313, or Hospice Savannah P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.
