Vonetta Wanique Golden, 38, departed this life Dec. 24, 2012, in Hinesville. She was born in Daytona Beach, Fla., to proud parents Eugene Norman Golden and Charletta Gail England.
She attended school in Portland, Ore., where she was educated in nursing. Vonetta was employed at Winn Army Hospital on Fort Stewart. Vonetta was a beautiful person in spirit who was very family-oriented and never met a stranger.
She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Norman Golden and her paternal grandmother, Georgiana Golden.
Vonetta leaves to cherish her memory to her husband, Marcellus Tatum of Anchorage, Alaska; four children, Ja'Niqua Danae Daniels of Durham, N.C., Mar'Tanique Octavia Tatum, Darren Lerenze Tatum and Myonjia Onea Tatum, all of Hinesville; her mother, Charletta Gail England of Portland; three sisters, Jernika "Nicole" Brown Monestime of Portland, Camellia "Kay Kay" McClendon of Fort Worth, Texas, Britney Golden of Daytona Beach; her maternal grandmother, Ernestine England of Daytona Beach; brother-in-law, James Monestime of Portland; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who love and will truly miss her.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at Mt. Mission Missionary Baptist Church in Daytona Beach. Interment will be in Masonic Cemetery in Bunnell, Fla.
