Clyde Weeks Obituary

Clyde Austin Weeks was born in Fort Myers, Florida, on Sept. 10, 1997. Clyde was 19 years old when he went to be with Jesus, on Feb. 15 2017.
Clyde is survived by his parents, Shaun and Mary Weeks-Cleveland; his brothers, CJ and Samuel Swartz; his grandparents, Joe and Lori Weeks, Ricky and Colleen Hailey, Curtis and Sherry Kinser. Clyde also leaves behind a beautiful daughter, Brooklynn, and another child on the way. Clyde also left many friends who have become family. (You know who you are!)
It is no surprise to those who knew him, that Clyde gave his life standing up for a friend. Though Clyde was far from perfect, he was fiercely loyal. Clyde loved those around him with all he had. Clyde was deeply spiritual yet hated religion, he enjoyed philosophical conversations and sharing ideas about life and why we were here.
Clyde's desire to learn and understand things was so intense at times it was an affliction. Clyde strived to give and receive love, yet to the depths of his struggles he had an empathy that drew him into the lives of others.
Clyde was an artist. He enjoyed drawing, painting and many creative outlets. The impact he had on others' lives will prove to be his greatest work.
He loved the ocean, nature, and his dogs Elvis, BonBon and Little Miss.
Clyde had a quick wit and loved to make people laugh, he grew up with his brothers CJ and Samuel. True to his nature as a leader and role of eldest brother he led and created many "adventures" in which the boys shared great pleasure. To my joy (and sometimes chagrin) I watched Clyde, CJ, and Samuel grow and do life together. As with most brothers there were fights, yet they always ended with reconciliation. If anyone bullied CJ or Samuel, Clyde was sure to defend them.
Clyde loved to travel and experience different cultures, he kept the people and things he admired from each encounter in his heart.
Through his children and those who love him, his memory will live on. As we mourn the loss of this amazing person we can take comfort in choosing to love, forgive, pray for our enemies and abide in our Lord and Savior, Jesus, the Son of the living God.
John 15:13, "Greater love has no one than this: that a man lay down his life for his friends."
I will see you in paradise, my beautiful son, until then and forever, I choose love.
His services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday Feb. 22 at A New Beginning Church, 2047 Georgia Highway 57, Ludowici.
Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home of Flemington is in charge of arrangements.

I just found out about this, sending my condolences to his family, and his daughter. He was an amazingly good person. I'm sorry for your loss. I still cannot believe this happened. He was way too young. I'm still in shock. Sending love from California.

Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be thou name. Thou kingdom come. Thou will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give use this day our daily bread. And forgive our trespasses, As we forgive those who trespass against use. Forgive our debts, As we forgive our debtors.
And forgive our sins. And do not lead us into temptation. But deliver us from evil.
For thou is the kingdom and the power and the glory.
Matthew 6:9-14 Amen in the name of JESUS.

From your words I know Clyde was your treasure on earth and from where your treasure is, there your heart will be also..

My condolence to your family, Clyde's children and love ones.
