John Mock Jr., 65, of Jacksonville, passed away Friday, April 11, 2014. He was born on June 25, 1948, in Jacksonville, the son of John Mock Sr. and Emma Mae Mock.

Mr. Mock was a retired veteran of the United States Air Force, having served 21 years, where he worked with Titan II Missiles. He also retired from Levi Strauss after 16 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Carlene Mock.
Survivors include his wife, Pong Mock; children, Brian Mock (Shannon), Daniel Mock (Lari) and Eugene Wells (Zoey); grandchildren, Dustin Moore, Haley Mock, Ashley Mock, Brenton Mock, Cecy Grant, Nicholas Wells, Matthew Wells, Journey Wells and Legend Wells; a sister, Judy Neal; and a brother, Scott Mock.
Also a survivor, Barbara Mock. who is a friend and mother of Brian and Danial Mock.
Visitation will start at 9 a.m. Thursday, April 17, until the time of the service at 10:30 a.m., both at Huson Funeral Home Chapel at 7700 Highway 107, Sherwood, Ark. Burial with military honors will follow at Arkansas State Veterans' Cemetery at 1501 W. Maryland Ave. in North Little Rock.
