Donna Faye Smith, 61, of Hinesville, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at St. Joseph's/Candler in Savannah after a short illness.

She was a native of Brookville, Pa., and lived in Hinesville for 12 years. She was retired from Coldwell Banker Holtzman Realtors in Hinesville. Mrs. Smith was a member of Elim Baptist Church in Ludowici and its Senior Adult Sunday School Class.
She was predeceased by her father Donald Leroy Fleming.
Survivors are her husband, Ty Smith of Hinesville; daughter, Melanie (Paul) Spradley of Hinesville; sons, Jeff (Tricia) Dempsey of Atlanta, and Chad (Melissa) Dempsey of Apopka, Fla.; stepdaughter, Tammy (Johnny) Wells of Hinesville; mother, Faye Fleming of Hinesville; sister, Carol (Richard) Sheats of Ligonier, Pa.; brother, Clair (Sandy) Fleming of Brookville; and grandchildren, Catherine Dempsey, Nicholas Spradley, Nathan Spradley, Charlie Spradley, Addison Dempsey and Alexandra Dempsey.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, and his funeral will follow at 2 at Elim Baptist Church in Ludowici.
The family requests memorials be sent to Liberty County Humane Society, 279 Briarwood Circle Hinesville, GA 31313.
