Ianne J. Berry, 61, died Feb. 9 at Memorial Health.

The Marshall County, Kan., native was an Army wife who traveled until settling in Hinesville in 1974. She was a Lutheran, a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her siblings, William, Muriel and Illis Jackson.
She is survived by her daughter, Tamara Vallejo of Rincon; two sons, Roger R. Berry of Virginia and Eric S. Berry of Glennville; brothers, Buck and Bob Jackson; sister Janet Webster; 11 grandchildren, Cory, Cody, Casy, and Cary Vallejo, Victoria, Tyler, Hannah, Logan, Ryan, Kristina and Randall Berry.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Thursday at Thomas C. Strickland and Sons Funeral Home, Effingham Chapel. The memorial service will after the Visitation at 8 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Georgia Chapter, 455 Abernathy Road, N.E. Atlanta, GA 30328. Thomas C. Strickland and Sons Funeral Home, Effingham Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
