Lori was a beautiful woman who was full of life. She was a great wife and mother and was always smiling. Lori was "tough as nails" when she needed to be, but was always willing to lend a helping hand. Her love for the outdoors was second only to the love she felt for her children and her husband. Lori had an adventurous spirit and loved dancing, horses, dolphins, camping, hiking, fishing and living in the country. She was a proud Army wife and was an active member of her Family Readiness Group. She was a master cosmetologist and had also worked as a crossing guard for the Hinesville Police Department.
The Guest Book is expired.
She is survived by her husband, Nathon Arrowood of Hinesville; two daughters, Brianna Overbaugh of Massachusetts and Jessica Hardy of Hinesville; one sister, Kristine Elliott of Midway; and one brother, John Geer of Kansas. Numerous other friends and family members also survive.
Memorial services will be at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct.5, 2010, at Gum Branch Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Arrowood family to help with expenses.
In Lori's honor, the family has requested that people attending the memorial service wear blue jeans and white T-shirts.
Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel, www.carteroglethorpe.com, is in charge of the arrangements.
