Sister Nancy Walthour-Hines of Midway was born July 10, 1959, to Freddie Walthour Sr. and the late Nazerene Wright Walthour.

After a strong fight, she was called to her Heavenly home on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, at St Joseph-Candler Hospital in Savannah.
She was educated in the Liberty County public school system.
She faithfully attended True Gospel Fellowship Ministry of Brunswick, where she received the Holy Spirit under the leadership of Elder Errol Roach.
To cherish her memories, she leaves four children, Donya Rene Walthour, Olivia Marie Hines, Stanley Aaron Hines Jr. and Banita Yvonne H. (Shaun) Phillips, along with the children's father, Stanley Hines Sr.; and two grandchildren, Iyana Donye' Walthour and Darneisha Rene Nesbit.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Phillip O. Walthour.
She also leaves to cherish her memories, five loving brothers, Freddie Jr. (Eloise), Kirtley (Josephine), Michael E. (Shirley), Stephen Sr. (Latrica), Mark L. (Carolyn); and five loving sisters, Evelyn (Dennis) Olson, Mary C. (Walter) Hines III, Wilhelmina (Nathaniel) Blue, Carolyn Morris and Iona Jones.
Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 31, at Dorchester Funeral Home of Midway.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1, at St. James Community Church, 1140 Holmestown Road, Midway. Burial will be in Zion Temple Holiness Church, 6102 Oglethorpe Highway, Midway. Elder Errol Roach will officiate.
