Mrs. Stephanie Richardson Bacon, 46, passed away Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012, at St. Joseph Hospital in Savannah.
The Long County native was a member of St. Thomas Missionary Baptist Church in Ludowici, where was a choir member and served with the Baptist Training Union. She was a 1984 graduate of Long County High School and attended Tuskeegee Institute in Tuskeegee, Ala. She was a member of the OES Laurel Growth Chapter #118 and served as worthy matron, a member of the Golden Circle and the Daughters of Isis. She was self employed as a tax consultant.
She is survived by her husband Carl Bacon;sister, Ms. Darnell R. Walker; her brothers, David (Julie) Richardson and Vaughn G. Richardson; sister-in-law, Mrs. Ernestine Richardson; god-sister, Kathleen Harvey; and other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be from noon-6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, at the chapel of King and Son's Funeral Home in Glennville.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, at St. Thomas Missionary Baptist Church in Ludowici.
