Mr. Frank Daughtry, 80, of Statesboro, passed away Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at the Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Center after an extended illness.

Mr. Daughtry , a native of Bulloch County, lived in Hinesville for many years. He retired after 30 years of service to the Liberty County Road Department in road construction. Mr. Daughtry moved to Statesboro in 2003 and was a member of Bible Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, of 49 years, Eloise D. Daughtry and a brother, John W. Daughtry.
Survivors include his children, a daughter, Diane Daughtry of Statesboro; a son and daughter-in-law, Franklin and Sandy Daughtry of Camden, S.C.; three grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; four sisters, Dorothy Zetterower, Portal, Ruby Barnes of Statesboro, Betty Finch of Portal and Grace Beasley of Stilson; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home in Statesboro. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, in the chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with Wallace Ward officiating. Burial will be in Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
