Mrs. Missouri Bryant Winn, 91, of Walthourville, departed this life on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah.

Mrs. Winn was born in Liberty County to the late Joe Bryant and Laura Elizabeth Bacon Bryant. Her husband, James M. Winn, preceded her in death. She was a devoted wife, mother, homemaker and a devout servant of Jehovah.
The following loved ones also preceded her in death: 11 children, James Jr., John, Charles, Ulysses, Eddie Joe, Willie, Helen, Calvin, Freddie, Christine Young and Christine Allen; two brothers, Richard Henry Bryant and Charles Bryant; and three sisters, Alice Herrington, Annie Mae Herrington and Carrie Hendry.
Her survivors include two daughters, Rosa Lee Anderson of Allenhurst and Eunice Lewis of Walthourville; one son, Curtis Winn of Walthourville; one sister-in-law, Maebell Bryant of Walthourville; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27, at Dorchester Funeral Home in Midway.
Her funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1779 Talmadge Road in Walthourville. Interment will be in Baconton Church Cemetery. Brother Ernest Boyd will preside.
