Shelly Jermaine Carry, 36, of Liberty County, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at his residence.

Shelly was born on May 8, 1978, as a twin brother to his sister, Sharon, to the late Sherland Carry and his loving mother, Ovilla Carry on Fort Stewart. He was educated in the public school system of Liberty County and found great joy in singing and spending quality time with his family and friends.
Shelly was a loving and giving young man who will forever be remembered for the person he was. At the age of 16, Shelly moved to Jesup, where he was employed at Hardees Restaurant and later relocated back to Hinesville in 2011 where he was employed with Wolf Management on Fort Stewart.
Shelly fit many shoes within his family, ranging from a loving son, to a loving brother, a devoted friend and even to being a father figure for his little sister.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories his loving mother of Ovilla Carry, Hinesville; siblings, Deloris Latson of Hinesville, Sharon (Brian) Gibbons of Marbury, Ala., and Natalie Carry of Statesboro; nephews, Darius Holmes of Fayetteville, N.C., and Hunter Gibbons of Marbury; nieces, Tyshec Davis of Hinesville, Layla Carry, Kayla Carry and Madisyn Gibbons, all of Marbury; six aunts; nine uncles; two great-aunts; close friends, Tyrese Curry, the Ventura family; and a host of other family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, June 19, at Royal Funeral Home Chapel in Jesup.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 20, at Royal Funeral Home Chapel. Repast will be at the residence of Johnny B. Fabian, 763 Williams St., Jesup, immediately following services.
