Bill Benada, 58, of Glennville passed away Sunday, Feb, 20,2011, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

The Lake Charles, La., native had lived in several states, settling in Glennville 10 years ago. He was a registered nurse, working at Liberty Regional Medical Center until his retirement. He was an avid sportsman especially when it came to fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Benada of Glennville; mother, Eva Marcantel of Palm Harbor, Fla.; two sons, Noah Freeze of Raleigh, N.C., and Luke Freeze of Kernersville, N.C.; two brothers, David Benada of Lake Charles and Dan Marcantel of Winston-Salem, N.C.; sister, Cherie Gaynor of Palm Harbor; and niece and nephew, Jessica Benada and Steven Gaynor.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 24, at the Glennville chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home, with the services to follow at 6 p.m. with Chap. Deborah Brown officiating.
