Deirdre Alice Aguigui, 24, and her stillborn son, Kalvin James Aguigui, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2011, on Fort Stewart.

She was born in St. Louis, Mo., and had been stationed at Fort Stewart since December 2009. She had served as a linguist, in the U.S. Army for four years, including a tour in Iraq. She met her future husband, Isaac, while attending the U.S. Military Academy Prep School.
She enjoyed physical fitness training, including swimming and running marathons and half-marathons. She was a music lover who enjoyed playing the clarinet and violin. Deirdre was excitedly awaiting the birth of her son Kalvin and looked forward to becoming a mother.
Survivors are her husband, Isaac Aguigui of Fort Stewart; parents, Alma and Christine Wetzker of St. Paul, Minn.; four sisters, Jaelithe Anne Wetzker, Cordelia Rose Wetzker, Morgaine Violet Wetzker, and Meaphbh Amelia Wetzker, all of St. Paul; two brothers, her twin Conall Cein Wetzker and Nigel Jurgen Wetzker, both of St. Paul; maternal grandparents, Ronald and Marilyn Forsythe of St. Louis; paternal grandparents, Egon and Alta Wetzker of St. Louis; and her in-laws, Edward and Annette Aguigui of Cashmere, Wash.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, July 25, at Howard-Jones-Nobles Funeral Home in Jesup.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, at the funeral home chapel with full military honors to follow.
