Ronald Elton Priester Jr., 41, of Cumming passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012, at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Priester Sr.
Ron was known as a compassionate man who lived each day with determination to be a better person. He most enjoyed spending time with his wife, Tuesday, and daughter, Bailey. He was a wonderful father and very active in Bailey's life, and was jokingly called the "Cheer Dad."
A veteran of the United States Navy, Ron also loved to hunt, fish, play softball and golf.
He is survived by his wife, Tuesday Crawford Priester of Cumming; daughter, Bailey Priester of Suwanee; mother, Sandra June Priester of Gainesville; brothers and sister,-in-law, Dustin and Cori Priester of Cumming and Christopher Trevor and Francesca Priester of Yatesville; Bailey's mother Amy Priester of Suwanee; nieces, Tyler Priester, Graycee Graham and Lilly Priester; nephew, Austin Priester; and special friends, Ron Pearce, Mark Knight and Mark Muir.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, at McDonald & Son Funeral Home in Cumming. Funeral services will be at noon on Wednesday, March 14, at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.
