On Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, Irma Todd Salazar passed from this earth under the care of Hospice of Savannah. She was greeted by her Lord as well as her beloved husband Vincent Salazar.

Born on Sept. 22, 1935, in Hinesville to the late Frank Grant and Ruby Yarbrough Todd, Mrs. Salazar was a beloved mother, grandmother and aunt. A fantastic cook and charismatic woman, Irma opened her heart and home to many and will be dearly missed.
Left behind to cherish Irma's memory are sons, Deven L. Wells of Hinesville and Dana L. Wells of Savannah; grandson, Brandon Wells (Tonya) of Savannah; sisters, LaVerne Todd of Savannah and Milodean Davis (Jimmy) of Hinesville; brother, Doyle Todd (Barbara) of Savannah; as well as a host of beloved nieces and nephews.
The family will greet visitors on Thursday, Oct. 11, from 6-8 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home in Hinesville. Funeral services will take place at Carter Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12, with burial to follow at Gum Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to Hospice of Savannah, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416-0190.
