Mr. Marion "Murk" Stevens Jr. of Midway died Friday, May 10, 2013, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah.

A native of Liberty County, he was a member of First Zion Baptist Church in Riceboro. He was an owner/operator truck driver through Comtrak Logistics of Memphis, Tenn.
His funeral service will be at noon Saturday, May 18, at First Zion Baptist Church. The Rev. Frederick A. McIver will officiate.
The body will be placed in the Church two hours prior to the service. Interment will follow in First Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
He leaves to cherish is memories four children, Jhonte James of Midway, Adrian Know (stepson), Tamara and Donte Stevens of McIntosh County; his loving father, Marion Stevens Sr.; a sister, Kanetha Stevens; a brother, Isaiah Stevens; a nephew, Kadaren Stevens, all of Midway; his godmother, Rosalyn Bacon of Stockbridge; a special devoted love one, Deandy Smith of Millen; and a host of other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
Hall, Jones and Brown Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
