Mr. Fred Miller Jr., 75, departed this life on Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013, at his residence in Ludowici.

Mr. Miller was born in Rehoboth Beach, Del., to the late Fred Miller Sr. and Rose J. Harris.
He served for 22 years in the United States Army and fought in the Vietnam War for a total of three separate tours. After retirement from the military, he drove trucks for more than 30 years.
Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Joyce Miller; two sisters, Constance Robertson and Marcealia Cannon; and a brother, Robert Brittingham.
He is survived by five brothers and seven sisters, Robert Miller, Martin (Ada) Burton, Larry (Janice) Brittingham, Joseph Brittingham, Michael Brittingham, Louise Farmers, Bessie (Thomas) Rushin, Evelyn Coleman, Jackie Spence, Elizabeth Brittingham, Anita (Wade) Hooker, and Bonnie (Russell) Ary; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
His viewing will be from 1-5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 20, at Dorchester Funeral Home, 7842 E. Oglethorpe Hwy in Midway.
His funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, in the Frank V. Givens Memorial Chapel of Dorchester Funeral Home.
Interment will be in the Oakridge Cemetery in Ludowici.
