Warren James
Warren passed away peacefully in Eston,
Saskatchewan on May 11, 2016 at the age
of 62. He will be dearly missed and lovingly
remembered by Darlene, his wife of 37 years, his
children Tanis (Ryan), Tyler (Ashley), Brad (Carla)
and Michelle, his beloved grandchildren Deegan
and Nya, his brother Rod, sisters Marion and
Vicki, nieces, nephews and many other family and
friends. Warren was predeceased by his parents
John and Jen Minogue and his infant sister Linda May.
Warren was born in Eston on October 10, 1953. He attended
school at Lacadena Elementary and Elrose High School in
Saskatchewan before moving to Calgary, where he took a chef's
course at SAIT. He then moved back to Saskatchewan and spent
many years farming with his father, eventually taking over the
family farm. Warren also worked for the Town of Eston and ran a
carpentry business with Cecil Shea before moving to Cochrane
in 1998, where he continued his work as a carpenter. He played
hockey for most of his life, which took him to Campbell River, Las
Vegas and El Paso before he returned to Eston to play for the
Ramblers. Warren also coached his boys' hockey teams in both
Saskatchewan and Alberta.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heartland Health
Centre Gazebo Fund, in memory of Warren Minogue. Cheques
