Lake, Doris E.  
Doris E. Lake 1/22/1926 - 1/31/2015 Doris E. Lake was born January 22, 1926 in Berkeley, Calif., she passed away January 31, 2015 in Roseville, Calif. Doris was a resident of Roseville since she was 18 months old. She attended local schools in Roseville and graduated from Roseville High School in 1944. She married Robert S. Lake in 1946 after he returned from military service. They celebrated 52 years of marriage before his passing in 1998. Also preceding her in death were her parents August and Hilma Olson and her sister Edna Giesser. She is survived by her sons Kenneth, Michael (Natalie), Daniel (Sandy) and daughter Diana Keil, grandchildren, Jamie, Lonnie, Kevin (Sage), Ryan (Cara), Steven (Tricia), Denise Lake and Jason (Yvonne) Kitchen, great grandchildren Leeana, Emmerie, Mason, Ashley, Kaylee, nephews Mark and Todd Giesser and brother in law, Maurice Giesser. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending summers with Bob at the cabin in Donner Lake. She will be greatly missed by her family, lifelong friends and neighbors. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of her life on Sunday, March 1, 2015 from noon to 3:00 pm at her family home.

Lemos, Lawson E.  
Lawson E. Lemos 4/13/1926 - 2/12/2015 Lawson Lemos was a lifelong resident of Placer County. He lived in Lincoln, Newcastle and Auburn. Lawson worked for the State of California and was a real estate agent for Century Twenty One. He is survived by his sisters Florence Burrell of Citrus Heights and Alice Hattrup of Auburn, two nephews, Ron (Lynda) Hedges and Steve (Annette) Foster and three nieces; Jude Perry, Terry Briggs and Toni Jasinski. He is preceded in death by his parents, Tony Lemos, Sr., and Mary Lemos Eger, his sister Celeste Foster, brother Tony Lemos, Jr., niece, Peggy Hattrup and nephew Tony Hattrup. Lawson had many great nieces and nephews and great-great nephews to whom he was very devoted. Services will be held Friday, February 27, 2015 at 11:30 am. at St. Joseph Catholic Church 1162 Lincoln way, Auburn, CA. Due to renovations services will be held at the hall (same location) bottom of the parking lot.

Luttinger, Karen  
Karen E. Luttinger 11/4/1945 - 2/12/2015 Karen Elaine Luttinger, 69 went to be with her Lord on Thursday, February 12, 2015, passing peacefully in her sleep. Karen was born November 4, 1945, to Carroll Kenneth Lawson and Helen Gayman Lawson, in Los Angeles, Calif., the youngest of three. She grew up in Los Angeles and attended UCLA before entering the workforce. In later years she worked for the telephone company, selling ads in the Yellow Pages until her retirement. Her territory included Reno and the Central Valley. After her retirement, Karen and her late husband moved to Auburn where they ran a limo service. She enjoyed her pets, singing, cooking, gardening, camping and fishing. Karen was a charter member of Auburn Presbyterian Church, where she sang in the choir and held a number of offices. Her musical life blossomed when she joined the Sierra Gold chapter of sweet Adelines, the ladies barbershop organization. Singing lead in a double quartet, she was deeply involved in costuming, choreography and other show aspects of their performances. Karen was also past president of the Auburn Symphony. Karen is preceded in death by her husband Ray Luttinger, both of her parents, brother, Dr. Douglas Lawson of Yreka, Calif., and her nephew Paul Lawson of Sugar Land, Tex. She is survived by another brother, Richard (Sue) Lawson of Sugar Land, Tex., sister in law Patty Lawson of Boise, Idaho, cousins Pat Gayman of Carmichael, Calif., Sylvia (Chet) Witz of Egan Minn., David (Marie) Gayman of Monrovia, Calif., niece Gail (Bob) Campbell of Boise, Idaho and nephews Kenneth and Keith Lawson. A public viewing will be held at Lassila Funeral Chapel Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 11:15 am to 12:00 pm with a memorial service to follow at 3:00 pm at Auburn Presbyterian Church.
