1932 - 2013
Lifelong Roseville resident Eva "Eve" Hebuck passed away February 24, 2013 after a two-year battle against esophageal cancer.
Born in 1932 to Ignacio and Delphine Cons, Eve knew Roseville and everyone knew Eve: she befriended many and never met a stranger.
Eve was predeceased by her parents, husband Ed Hebuck, sons David, Alan and Ronald Newhouse and daughter Marcy Marshall. She leaves behind lifelong love Roy Sturm, son Gordon Craig Newhouse, "adopted daughters" Sheryl, Carol, and Tracy, and more loving friends and family than can be counted.
Eve was proud of more than 34 years as a member of Alcoholics Anonymous; she was the last living founding member of Roseville's Tuesday Night Meeting. Her great contribution in life was her unwavering support of thousands of people in their journey to sobriety. During the 1970s she co-founded Mi Casa in Sacramento, an alcohol recovery home for Mexican-Americans.
